R A Clement Associates is about to increase its profile in Lochaber after buying the Fort William branch of accountants French Duncan. The office on Fort William’s High Street is now responsible for a much bigger client base and is actively seeking to recruit more chartered accountants.
Partner Duncan Grout is in charge of the Fort William office, which opened in 2004, and says he is relishing the challenge of looking after the financial interest of Lochaber businesses, community groups and individuals.
Duncan said: ‘Taking over the French Duncan business has really increased our client base in Fort William and raised our profile up here. We offer a local, personal and confidential service. We are trying to create a set-up in Fort William similar to our well established Oban office.’
