You may be aware that regulations came into force in 1999 which impose a duty on all employers to retain a copy of their Employer’s Liability Certificate for a period of 40 years. The above requirement is in addition to the continuing obligation to display a copy of the Certificate in each place of business at which the policyholder has employees.
